As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we are arming the future generation with the necessary cybersecurity awareness tools for now and for the future.

It is no longer news that interest in online activities has greatly increased especially among teenagers, who accounts for over 60% of Internet usage statistics. Internet fraud, misuse, bullying, blackmail, and all other anti-social vices are increasing around the country, teenagers are most prone to cyber-attacks and lurking into hacking when they are not properly educated on how to protect themselves online and the dangers of engaging in anti-social activities with their mobile phones and computers.

Students are top on the list. most vulnerable to cyber-attacks. They must be armed with the necessary cybersecurity awareness knowledge to avoid being victims of cyber-attacks, which in most cases have led to the loss of money, properties, and lives.

Presence Secure visited Aflon Digital Academy in Abuja on Monday 16th May 2022 to equip the students with basic cyber security awareness skills to stay safe online and mind the information they share online while advocating against cyberbullying and reporting abuse against them.

Over 200 students were in attendance with their teachers. It was a memorable day with the students and teachers of the school. At the end of the awareness talk, students made the commitment to use technology for the good of humanity, refrain from bullying others online, keep their parents abreast about their online activities, and report antisocial activities targeted at them.
